Race material pick up for the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON at the MARATHON EXPO

All participants of the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON will receive their race material exclusively at the MARATHON EXPO.

The packet pick up must be made in person without exception. For this you need:

  • Your photo document (identity card, passport or driver's license)
  • Your Start Card → which you receive 7-10 days before the event by e-mail and will be also available as a download in your user account

Athlete Wristband

an athlete wristband, which will be placed on you at the entrance to the MARATHON EXPO

IMPORTANT: Please do not remove it under any circumstances, as on the day of the event, entry to the start area will only be granted with a participation wristband!

The bib number of 2023

Bib Number

your personal bib number, incl. TAG on the back for timekeeping

You can recognise your starting block with a letter (A-H) on your bib number. The starting blocks are allocated on the basis of the best time or expected finish time stated in your online registration.

Extras

If booked, you will receive your additional services such as clothing bag, merchandising and/or adidas event T-shirt at the Marathon EXPO.

Booked extras will also be shown on your bib number.  

Athletes with a hearing impairment:
You have the option of picking up a back number at the support desk that identifies you as such. This number is not mandatory, but it helps to support other participants when overtaking and in the case of a warning.

Athletes with visual impairment:
A guide number can also be collected at the support desk for registered guides. Please come with your guide and a photo ID to collect your guide start number at the support desk.

WHAT:

In addition to the race material, the MARATHON EXPO:

  • a wide selection of national and international exhibitors from the fields of sport, active tourism, wellness and nutrition
  • an extensive catering area
  • Exclusive BMW BERLIN-MARATHON products in the large merchandising area

Note:

To avoid queues, we recommend that you pick up your race materials for the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON on Thursday or Friday morning if possible. Friday afternoon and Saturday can be very crowded.

Arrival:

As there are no parking spaces available, we kindly ask you to come to the MARATHON EXPO by public transportation.

→ In advance of the MARATHON EXPO, all participants will receive a 4-day ticket for public transport by e-mail, valid from 26.09.2023 (from 00:01) to 30.09.2024 (at 03:00) in fare zone ABC.
 

Accesible access:

The main access is via the Ehrenhof (main hall at Tempelhof Airport). The entrance has an elevator. The size of the elevator is limited; only wheelchairs and no larger handbikes fit in here.

Important notes:

  • Permitted bag size corresponds to the hand luggage size in the airplane: max. 55x40x25 cm
  • Animals are not allowed on the EXPO grounds
  • If we have to temporarily close the exhibition halls during opening hours due to overcrowding, participants who have to collect their race materials will have priority over visitors.
  • Please also note the list of prohibited items
