The Jubilee Club of the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON
The BMW BERLIN-MARATHON is one of the world's most renowned sporting events. The success of this traditional event truly depends on its participants. In existence since 1997, the Jubilee Club is a way to pay respect, thank and unite all runners, wheelchair athletes and hand cyclists who have successfully completed the BERLIN-MARATHON in one dicipline at least 10 times. Membership is free of charge and offers its community numerous benefits, but it is not automatic.
The BMW BERLIN-MARATHON awards a special green bib to its members. This special bib number is reserved for you for life, so you can wear it again and again at the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON, as well as at the GENERALI BERLIN HALF MARATHON, which is sure to attract some extra cheers.
It takes a lot of motivation and discipline to join this elite circle! You deserve our greatest respect!
Jubilee Club benefits
As a member of the Jubilee Club, you do not have to take part in the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON entry drawing. You are guaranteed your race entry every year!
However, this does not exempt you from registering regularly for the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON → more information
Your bib number will have a green background to clearly distinguish Jubilee members from the rest of the field and make them easily identifiable to spectators.
Jubilee start numbers will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Please understand that personal preferences cannot be taken into account. You will receive your green number at the special Jubilee member pick-up area, which will be marked and is usually located on one of the outer sides of the MARATHON EXPO.
In the Jubilee Club Lounge at the MARATHON EXPO, you can have a green number printed on your back with your name and the number of times you have run the BERLIN-MARATHON. The privilege of having a number on your back is reserved for Jubilee Club members only and will bring you extra attention on the course.
All new Jubilee members will receive a special certificate for their 10th participation and a green Jubilee shirt. You will also receive a membership card which will give you access to the exclusive Jubilee Lounge during the MARATHON EXPO.
If you have completed the BERLIN-MARATHON 20, 25, 30, 35 or 40 times in one discipline (as a runner, handbiker or wheelchair athlete), you will receive a free entry for the following year. You will receive your access code, registration details and a special jubilee certificate automatically and separately by email.
The Jubilee Lounge is a separate room on the MARATHON EXPO site as part of the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON. You can gain access to the lounge with your Jubilee membership card. Simone and Martin will be waiting for you here in their capacity as department heads and contact persons for all questions relating to the Jubilee Club. The Jubilee Lounge is also a meeting place for the marathon scene, where the international Jubilee community can meet and mingle over snacks and drinks. The relaxed atmosphere is a great place to unwind before the action on Sunday. As a special bonus for stopping by the Jubilee Lounge, you will be able to pick up your green back number with your name and the number of races you have completed at the BERLIN-MARATHON. This "extra bonus" is reserved for members of the Jubilee Club.
Registration for the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON
Membership does not exempt our Jubilee members from registering for the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON every year. We will automatically send an email to all running members with a valid user account with all the necessary information for online registration. Please check your spam/junk folder.
When & How
The registration period opens as of now together with the registration for the lottery and ends on December 31st.
Registration is done directly via the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON event tile, which is marked with a small green Jubilee lettering and can be found during registration periode on the start page of your user account. No access code is required (except for free entries).
This is how it works:
- Log in to your user account.
- Select the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON event tile, which is labeled with Jubilee in the top left corner and confirm with “Jubilee”.
- Follow the registration process and complete it with the payment. You will receive a confirmation by email.

If you haven't received an email or don't see the event tile marked for Jubilees, please contact the Jubilee Club at jubilee@scc-events.com before the deadline to register.
Due to the very high and demanding organizational requirements and the need for precise planning security for such a large and globally popular event as the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON, it is not possible to register after the registration deadline. Thank you for your understanding.
How to become a member
Membership of the Jubilee Club requires an active application and a user account in our online booking portal. Membership is personal and cannot be transferred. Membership of the Jubilee Club is subject to the Jubilee Club regulations, which must be accepted by all members.
You can apply to become a member of the Jubilee Club online via your user account in a sustainable, quick and convenient way from the comfort of your sofa. To do so, log in to your user account and open the menu item "Jubilee Club".
Generally applies: Any applications received after the specified deadlines cannot be considered due to the extensive organization and logistics involved.
Applications with 10 or more finished participations in one discipline:
- In order to be considered for direct entry into the Jubilee Club and immediate allocation of the Jubilee start number for the current year, your application must be received by 31 July at the latest.
- To be considered for a race entry in the following year, your application must be received by 31 October at the latest.
Application with 9 successful finishes in one discipline:
To be officially and publicly welcomed into the Jubilee Club as part of your 10th successful participation, you must have a current binding registration for the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON and your application must be received by 31 July at the latest. Applications received after 31 July will not be considered for the public reception after the finish due to the extensive organisation and logistics involved.
Proof of participation
* Only photos/screenshots of certificates or entries in results lists will be accepted as proof of multiple successful participation in the same event (running, handbike, wheelchair). Photos of medals, start numbers or registration confirmations do not constitute proof of successful participation and cannot be considered as such.

Jubilee Club Regulations
Existing Jubilee Members will need to accept the Jubilee Club Regulations via their account. If you actively decline the Jubilee Club Regulations, your membership will be deactivated. You will then lose all Jubilee Club benefits. You can re-apply at any time under the 'Jubilee Club' section of your account.
Since 2021, the BERLIN-MARATHON Jubilee Club is also active on Facebook. This means that you will be able to chat with your fellow Jubilee runners outside of the Jubilee Lounge at the EXPO.
With just over 300 members, the group is still quite small, but we are growing all the time. The group welcomes all newcomers. Pass it on ; )
