mini-MARATHON
The mini-MARATHON presented by GENERALI as part of the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON is organized for students from schools in Berlin and Brandenburg.
Together with the Senatsverwaltung für Bildung, Jugend und Familie (Bereich Schulsport und Bewegungserziehung) and the Sport-Club-Charlottenburg e.V., we give students the opportunity to complete the last 4.2195 km of the marathon.
The event is sold out. A registration is not possible anymore.

For whom: School students (born in 2005 and younger)
Participation fee:
- 6€ per student registered through a school.
- 8€ individual registration.
- Payment is made online by credit card, instant bank transfer or SEPA direct debit after that, the registration is complete.
Eligibility
Students of a school within the eligible age groups as a school team. Club teams are not eligible to compete. Individual starters can only be entered if the school is named and the class division is observed.
Registration is possible via a user account via our school registration portal until September 16, 2024.

The information of the event was sent by e-mail to schools in Berlin and Brandenburg via the Senatsverwaltung für Bildung, Jugend und Familie.
Each participant will receive a certificate and a medal. The award ceremony for the best school teams from Berlin and Brandenburg will take place in October. The schools to be awarded will be notified directly by e-mail.
Team ranking:
Each school can enter an unlimited number of students. School teams are determined and ranked separately for boys and girls based on the order and addition of the best ten running times.
Mixed school teams:
There is no classification for mixed school teams (boys and girls).
Individual classification:
Participants are not scored individually
Schools from abroad:
Will not be ranked, but will receive their result in the results list.
The following age groups are divided and scored:
- Secondary school boys: Years 2005 and younger
- Secondary school girls: Years 2005 and younger
- Elementary school boys: Years 2011 to 2015 (up to 6th grade)
- Girls' elementary school: Years 2011 to 2015 (up to 6th grade)
- Development centers: Years 2011 to 2015
The race material will be handed out with showing the registration confirmation at the Marathon Expo 2024.

Student accident insurance is provided for duly registered students by the Unfallkasse Berlin (school event). The organizer assumes no liability for health risks of the participants.
Participants accept the general terms and conditions for participation in SCC EVENTS sporting events.
The personal data provided during registration will be stored. The stored data will be passed on to commercial third parties (currently Mika timing GmbH, Kürtener Straße 11 b, 51465 Bergisch Gladbach, www.mikatiming.de) for the purpose of timekeeping, and to other third parties for the creation of results lists and the posting of these lists on the Internet, if approved by the organizer.
The participant's surname, first name, school, nationality, bib number, age group and results (placings and times) will be printed or published in all relevant media accompanying the event (printed materials such as the program booklet and results booklet, as well as on the Internet).
The school will obtain the written consent of the parents for the collection, storage, publication and use of personal data of the participants for both of the above-mentioned purposes and must be presented to the organizer upon request.
The parents or legal guardians of the participants agree that the photos, film recordings and interviews made in connection with the event may be distributed and published in radio, television, print media, books, photomechanical reproductions (films, video cassettes, etc.) without entitlement to remuneration.
